Instructions

The Statistics Wizard provides information on incidence for disorders selected by you.

  1. Click the tickboxes on the Disorder Selection page to select the hamatological neoplasms of interest to you; the default setting includes all conditions. To select 'traditional' groupings use the tickboxes on the right of the screen. To select using the current WHO classification click the nodes of the tree on the left of the screen. When you have finished making your choices, click next.

  2. On the next screen the chosen disorders are listed on the left. The age-specific rates and estimated annual numbers of new cases in the UK are shown in a graph to the right. The crude rates and the age-standardised rates (European) are given in the table underneath. To see data on indiviual disorders, click on the name in the list.
    For more detailed information on UK estimated frequencies, click next.

  3. The pie chart on the left shows the relative proportions (%) of the selected disorders. The estimated number of new caes diagnosed each year in the UK are shown in the table on the right.
    • Using the tickboxes at the top of the screen you can change the sex and age groups included in the chart and the table.
    • To download the data in the table click the 'Export data' link underneath the table.
    • To view detailed information regarding an individual disorder either click on the name in the table or on the relevant slice of the pie chart.
